About Me

My name is Cherie.  I began my career in floristry at a young age as a Saturday girl in Lambeth, London.
I quickly realised my passion for flowers and was craving to learn all aspects of floristry.

I was trained at Southwark College whilst working at Chivers Flowers.
After the closure of the shop, I began an incredible journey to further my career starting at Moyes Stevens in Sloane Square, London.  A Royal warrant established flower shop.
I was given the responsibility for managing the Ritz Hotel and Le Meridien Hotel contracts.
The highlight of my career to date, was being part of the floral team for Sylvester Stallone’s wedding at Blenheim Palace.  The bride, Jennifer Flavin had the choice of four bouquets to choose from and she choose the one I made which then also featured on the front page of OK Magazine.
I also organised and managed the floral displays for the Aston Martin Mayflower Challenge supported by the Prince’s Trust.

I moved from Moyes Stevens to Claridges Hotel, Mayfair, London.  Claridges is a timeless, elegant five star hotel and my role included maintaining the breath taking, sophisticated front of house floral displays and dealing with endless flower requests from VIP guests.

I decided to become self-employed 15 years ago after starting a family and I am lucky to have two gorgeous boys.
I have worked for many different shops in this time, gaining a vast amount of experience.

With many years of experience, I’ve taken the steps to share my floral designs and knowledge locally.
