A b o u t    U s

My name is Cherie Dowie and I am the owner of Precious Flowers.  Precious Flowers is an internet based business and we offer free local delivery for all bouquets and funeral tributes.  For your wedding and function requirements, we will meet with you to discuss your budget and needs and have beautiful photo albums to show our previous work.

I have been a florist since 1995 and my first job was at Chivers Flowers where I learnt my trade.  I then moved on to Moyses Stevens which was a wonderful company to work for.  Here I had the opportunity to work at Harrods for 7 months and I was also responsible for maintaining both the Ritz Hotel and Le Meridian contracts.  I have been involved in many high profile events, some of which include Sylvester Stalone's wedding at Blenheim Palace and functions for The Prince Of Wales.

From Moyses Stevens I moved to the beautiful Claridges Hotel.  The floral displays at Claridges are absolutely stunning and I feel very proud to have been part of these wonderful creations.  

I left Claridges to start a family which is when I became a self employed freelancer working at various places in London.

I still have so much passion for flowers and I can honestly say that I love my job.  Everyday is so different which makes this career choice so interesting.
